Register of veterinary practitioners and veterinary premises

In the ACT all vets must be registered to protect the health, safety and welfare of animals and people. The registration process ensures vets are qualified and meet standards that protect animals and the community.

This page lists vets and premises registered in the ACT. The list is updated regularly.

Please note that veterinary practitioners may be working in the ACT under the National Recognition of Veterinary Registration (NRVR) scheme, which recognises the registration of a veterinarian in any other state or territory of Australia with ‘deemed registration’. If your veterinarian does not show on the ACT register, they may be registered in another jurisdiction (the state in which they reside) e.g. NSW. This information can be verified on the relevant state board's website.

If you have trouble in accessing this information, please contact the Board Secretariat on 02 6207 0012 or email: TCCS.vetboard@act.gov.au
