Dog ownership in the ACT

As a dog owner you must microchip, register and desex your dog. You must also have effective control of your dog in public places. Issues with dogs

Domestic Animal Services looks after animal nuisance complaints including barking dogs. We also investigate dog attacks and may seize and impound dogs as part of an investigation. Select an option below to learn more.
